Public officials often celebrate when they secure public funding for a community because it’s visible, immediate, and appealing. However, New York State is standing at a financial crossroads. With a $268‑billion budget—the largest in our history—Albany continues to spend at a pace that outstrips economic growth. Communities across the state, including ours, are now facing the consequences: rising property taxes, growing dependence on social services, and a cost of living that pushes families, seniors, and young people away. These challenges are real, and they are accelerating.
In the 119th District, we cannot afford to accept this as the new normal. We need a path that strengthens our communities rather than burdens them. That path begins with long‑lasting, value‑added private investment. When businesses choose to build here, when entrepreneurs see potential here, and when young people believe they can build a future here, our tax base grows naturally. That means more revenue without squeezing homeowners. It means stable, long‑term jobs that anchor families. It means a district where people want to stay, not one they feel forced to leave.
My commitment is straightforward: I will work hard to bring sustainable private‑sector growth back to the 119th District. I will advocate for policies that make our region competitive, affordable, and attractive to employers. I will stand for fiscal responsibility and a government that supports—not replaces—the private economy. I whole-heatedly support local small businesses and encourage private investment over public subsidies.
These are the values I will bring to the New York State Assembly.
I will Work For You.
